About Toby Greene
I am an analyst, consultant and lecturer in Politics and Foreign Policy with a background in policy research and political communications. I provide research and consultancy services for a range of organizations and I am a Visiting Lecturer in the Political Studies Department at Bar Ilan University (where I was formerly a full-time faculty member). My academic research is focused on foreign policy decision making, the international politics of the Middle East, European foreign policy and transnational identity politics. I have held research and teaching positions at the London School of Economics, Queen Mary University of London, Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University. My book, 'Blair, Labour and Palestine; Conflicting Views on Middle East Peace After 9/11' was published by Bloomsbury Academic in 2013.
In this video for Fathom I discuss two policy papers (co-authored with Jonathan Rynhold) dealing with the political future of a post-Hamas Gaza: ‘Beyond Humanitarian Aid: A Plan for Gazan Civilians Is a Strategic Necessity for Israel’ and ‘URGENT: An Israeli Strategy for a Post-Hamas Gaza’.
